This Ain’t That - Effective Date: 10/21/2025
Website: www.thisaintthathq.com
Handle: @thisaintthathq
Operated by: This Ain’t That HQ – Washington, DC

At This Ain’t That, we take your privacy seriously — because trust is part of truth-telling. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you visit our site, submit content, listen to our podcast, buy our merch, or engage with us on social media.

1. What We Collect

We may collect:
   •    Personal information (name, email, shipping address, etc.) when you sign up, place orders, or contact us.
   •    Guest info (bios, photos, social links, recordings) if you appear on the podcast.
   •    Technical data like IP address, browser type, and device info (standard website tracking stuff).
   •    User interactions via forms, newsletter sign-ups, merch purchases, and content submissions.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. This ain’t that kind of party.

2. How We Use It

We use your info to:
   •    Process orders and deliver merchandise
   •    Manage podcast guest communication
   •    Improve user experience and protect our platform
   •    Send you updates, announcements, and content you actually care about (no spam — we’re not your cable provider)
   •    Respond to legal requests or protect our rights if someone gets spicy

3. Who We Share It With

We don’t sell your data. Period.

We may share your info with:
   •    Payment processors (like Stripe or PayPal) to handle transactions securely
   •    Email platforms (for newsletters, early drops, etc.)
   •    Service providers (like website hosts, podcast platforms, etc.)
   •    Law enforcement if required by law or to protect ourselves or others from fraud, harm, or harassment

We do not share your info with brands or companies for profit. We’re not that podcast.

4. How We Protect Your Info

We use secure technology and limited access protocols to protect your data.
Still, no platform is 100% secure — so don’t send us your SSN, passwords, or secret recipes.

5. Third-Party Links & Content

Our site and episodes may link to other platforms (like sponsors, affiliates, or social media). We’re not responsible for their privacy practices. Check their policies too — some of them are shady, we won’t lie.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:
   •    Know what info we have on you
   •    Ask us to delete or correct your data
   •    Opt-out of newsletters or other communication at any time
   •    File a complaint if you feel we’re being sketchy (we’re not, but still — you can)

To exercise any of these rights, email: contact@thisaintthat.com

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy as laws change, platforms evolve, or trolls get sneakier.
When we do, we’ll post the updated version here and change the effective date.
